Building resilience is a core area that all humanitarian agencies should be thinking about in order to adequately invest in their workforce's well-being. This course provides a useful overview on some of the core essentials that we should be considering as part of this and provides a framework on which to build a comprehensive programme for all staff.

I am so pleased that InterHealth is looking to support line managers to be more resilient in their roles, effectively managing their own stress and the stress of others. It’s a subject where many huge gaps in understanding and in capacity of organisations to ‘boost resilience’. The workshop effectively highlighted that there is still a lack of awareness among both employers and employees about stress factors and how to manage them! It was presented in a professional and engaging way integrating aspects of distance management and cross-cultural challenges. I left motivated and equipped to be more resilient, and took some valuable lessons back to the office.
