Workshop: Driving Major Change in Fundraising

Bernard RossBernard Ross, =mc

19-22 October 2010

This session explores how fundraising charities and NGOs can undertake and drive through major change programmes - in terms of structure or strategy. It will look at a range of models and tools from identifying change drivers, Kotter’s 8-step approach, to red water-blue water change competition, communicating ‘burning platforms’, overcoming stakeholder resistance and identifying change levers and stabilisers.

The seminar will use practical examples from a range of INGOs and country-based charities – from Capability Scotland to UNICEF UK and Sightsavers to establish how change processes work and how you can manage these effectively as a senior manager or member of a leadership group.
