At the moment

I have recently joined =mc and I am very excited to be able to learn from my colleagues and adopt new tools and techniques which I can then adapt to meet the needs of our customers. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead and the opportunity to work with so many inspirational organisations.

Before =mc

I have worked for the NSPCC for over 17 years in fundraising and business change roles. My recent projects included the withdrawal of the NSPCC’s Schools Counselling Service, the transition of staff to the newly established ChildLine Schools Service and the establishment of a new strategic partnership with the Samaritans to support children with suicidal ideation. I also supported the latter stages of the Fundraising Division’s Transformation Programme.

As a senior fundraising manager, I was part of the team set up to support the merger with ChildLine, lead the Major Giving Department for 7 years, worked closely with prominent volunteer boards to deliver Full Stop and had hands-on experience of regional fundraising. Between 2008 and 2010, I led the highly successful Child’s Voice Appeal which raised £46m to develop the ChildLine and NSPCC Helplines, supported by a further £30m grant from central government.

Prior to joining the NSPCC I worked in the book trade where I led the merger of two separately acquired businesses as well as running their library supply business over 11 sites via a matrix management structure.

I also have an MBA from London Business School.
