Funding your place

The National Arts Fundraising School is widely regarded within the sector as a sound investment, and each year many participants receive grants from external bodies to help fund their place. These have included:

  • Arts and Business
  • Arts Council England
  • Clore Leadership Programme
  • MLA
  • Skillset
  • Train to Gain
Money back guarantee

In return for your substantial investment, we believe you deserve training that is nothing short of excellent and that you have a right to expect tangible results when you implement what you have learnt. That's why we offer a unique guarantee:

If, within 12 months of completing the programme you haven’t raised a sum equal to the course fee, we’ll refund your fee in its entirety.

Terms & conditions for money back guarantee

2WC will refund the course fee in full if the following criteria are met:

An additional cash amount equivalent to the course fee is not raised by the organisation that employs the attendee of the course from new or existing sources within 12 months of attending the course.

Audited accounts covering the 12 month period after the course are produced to show that the fundraising income for that organisation has increased by less than the course fee.

The individual attendee is still in the employment of the organisation that registered the place on the course for the 12 months after the course.

Taking part in NAFS totally changed my approach to funding and preparing bid. My department has since brought in excesss of £150,000 worth of projects and has almost £300,000 worth of project applications currently submitted. I would wholeheartedly recommend this course to anyone fundraising in the arts!

Following the National Arts Fundraising School I immediately started applying the learning and things have been going brilliantly! In addition to performing in our sell-out Edinburgh festival show, I have secured £12,000 in additional statutory fundraising. Another exciting update is that we are attracting record levels of interest in our website - the School's language tips are paying dividends.

Since my colleague and I attended the School, Artichoke has had a number of fundraising scuccesses, including a £50,000 sponsorhip from Tiscali and a £50, 000 award from the Paul Hamlyn Foundation.

Katy Fuller, Associate Producer, Artichoke

Since NAFS I have raised will in excess of £100,000 and developed many new relationships with trusts that previoulsy didn't sponsor our organisation. This School should be compulsory for all fundraising in the arts. It's a fantastic, well-rounded grounding in all aspects of fundraising.
