Competency frameworks

A competency framework defines the skills, knowledge and attitudes you expect from different level staff and managers. You can use the competencies for recruitment, performance management and identifying key development needs.

Concern Worldwide wanted to identify the behaviours that would make them successful, now and into the future. We helped them to design and manage an online global consultation involving hundreds of staff, to establish the essence of working for Concern and identify best management practices. We then helped them to create a simple and user friendly competency framework, based on the results of this process.

We can help you carry out research and consultation to identify the competencies that make your organisation successful. We can also offer expert advice on how to turn the results of that process into a useable framework.
