Balancing different staff needs

Working multiculturally

International organisations often need to deliver the same programme across many different countries, with the content tailored to suit different cultures. To do this you need consultants and content sensitive to language, culture and faith. =mc consultants can deliver training in 11 different languages and have worked in over 20 different countries worldwide.

For example, The British Council rolled out their business sponsorship training to staff in 14 different countries, including Ukraine, Nigeria, Brazil, China, Zambia, Poland, Czech Republic, and Tanzania. We customised each programme to take account of local/regional examples, culture, economy and context. This ensured the organisational context was maintained and allowed tailoring of case studies, exercises and examples where appropriate.

Individual vs organisational needs

Training is often driven by organisational needs, but some people in your organisation might want development relating to personal challenges and opportunities. You may also want to give high potential individuals development opportunities to fast track them, or ensure they stay with your organisation.

We can help you match the needs of individuals by offering coaching, mentoring and open training programmes. Where you’re struggling to balance organisational with individual needs, our learning and development consultants can offer their expert advice.
