Action learning sets

As a complement to an existing learning and development initiative, you may want to invite a group of participants to meet regularly to explore solutions to real work problems, deciding on actions they wish to take. Action Learning Sets provide individuals with a safe environment to explore new ways of thinking and doing, through the support and challenge of a group.

Individuals benefit from the opportunity to share challenges or goals with colleagues who help them to think from different perspectives. And the group as a whole benefits from thinking through a range of issues and developing their own coaching and analysis skills.

We are currently working with Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership to facilitate Action Learning Sets as part of a larger management development programme.

At =mc we can help you set up and facilitate an Action Learning Set – with the ultimate goal of empowering the group to ‘stand-alone' and facilitate their own meetings.

=mc has a wealth and breadth of knowledge, a terrific understanding and vast experience of the ethos and culture of the not-for-profit sector. This together with their 'anything is possible' approach made =mc an obvious choice for the RNLI to partner with, to develop and deliver in-house training for our staff.

=mc's learning and development consultants work hard to understand our needs, delivering lively, engaging and practical programmes that have a real impact on the ways we work.
